If you're a parent-to-be or are planning to have children in the future, one of the first decisions you'll need to make is whether or not to give your child the hepatitis B vaccine. Even if you consider yourself to be in favor of vaccinations and the current US vaccine schedule, this is one vaccine that deserves special consideration. In fact, the hepatitis B vaccine for newborns and young children is the least justifiable of any vaccine I can think of. Hepatitis B is only transmitted via contaminated needles, blood transfusion, or contact with contaminated blood and/or body fluids. If the mother is negative, there's very little risk of a baby contracting this disease, and the vaccine's effectiveness is highly questionable, anyway.

Hepatitis B is a contagious liver disease that results from infection with the hepatitis B virus. When first infected, a person can develop an “acute” infection, which can range in severity from a very mild illness with few or no symptoms to a serious condition requiring hospitalization. Acute hepatitis B refers to the first 6 months after someone is infected with the hepatitis B virus. Some people are able to fight the infection and clear the virus. For others, the infection remains and is “chronic,” or lifelong. Chronic hepatitis B refers to the infection that occurs when the hepatitis B virus remains in a person’s body. Over time, the infection can cause serious health problems.

Eight babies in China have died in the past two months shortly after being injected with the Hepatitis B vaccine, according to an article in the New York Times. The deaths are being investigated and linked to vaccine manufacturer Kangtai Biological Products (BioKangtai).

The Hepatitis B vaccine is now suspended until further notice.

Deaths Are “Coincidental”

What is even more disturbing is the well-rehearsed script given to media outlets.
For example, the Mail Online reports, “In a statement earlier this month, the company [BioKangtai] said it was confident in the safety of its products and that the deaths could be caused by underlying diseases that were incubating in the babies and coincidentally started showing symptoms after the inoculations.”

Contrary to this ignorant statement by the pharmaceutical company, one father was told by doctors his child was in good condition shortly after being born. The baby died about an hour after being injected with the Hepatitis …

Those who recover completely from hepatitis B infection acquire life-long immunity. One medical textbook (Robbins Pathologic Textbook of Disease) points out that among those who do not recover completely from hepatitis B infection, fewer than 5 percent become chronic carrriers of the virus, with just one quarter of these in danger of developing life threatening disease later in life.

The tragic consequences of doctors promoting mass hysteria about infectious diseases, like hepatitis B, and insisting on “no-exceptions” vaccine mandates, are becoming clearer every day. The only hope that citizens of every country have to protect their health and the health of their children is to stand up and pass laws which allow informed, voluntary use of vaccines and prohibit discrimination against those who have a disease or are vaccine injured.
