There are estimated 6 billion people in the world today, and half of them (If not all) use mobile phones, when cell phone was first introduced to public, almost everyone could hardly afford it, it was only for the elite, people of higher status are the ones using them, well, not until the late year of 2000. This state of the arc gadget is hailed by many, imagine talking to somebody in real time without going in a phone booth, because of its extreme demands in the market, phone companies are sprouting around, different brands and phone models are widely available for the consumer to choose from, such demand is perceived to be long term and even reach to a point when mobile phone companies are competing on one another –creating better versions yet sold in cheaper price. This is the time when teens and young adults begin to use cell phones and started rage booming trend on their generation.

But the general public has yet to know the down side of mobile phones, we heard new about what it can do to our health through its radiation components, moreover, recent studies shows that mobile phones are link to allergy! Yes that’s right, there had been cases reported and investigated that there are people out there who have developed an allergy because of their phones.

In it an international team of researchers conducted a comprehensive search of the existing literature and identified 37 cases of movbild phone related ACD and 6 studies which examined the release of allergens from mobile phones.

Among their findings was the fact that the high levels of nickel sensitization children, means that the prevalence of ACD can be as high as 33%.

This information, say the authors, is important for practitioners, particularly when evaluating patients with dermatitis of the face, neck, hands, breast, or anterior thighs-common places exposed to cell phones. The authors provide important diagnostic tips for practitioners and strategies to raise awareness of nickel- or chromium-induced mobile phone ACD.
