    1.  She treats you like a therapist She calls you when she’s sad; she shares secrets; she compliments you all the time; she says you’d be a great boyfriend. But if you make a move, she’ll say she doesn’t want to ruin the friendship.

    Fixable? Possibly. Be supportive, relate to her emotions, but don’t get into details. Tell her you have confidence in her and that she will find the right answer for her. Then change the subject.

    Cheating is never right in a marriage or any relationship, and excuses are not acceptable. Consequences are devastating for all involved, especially the offended spouse and children. Even the cheaters endure negative consequences of their poor choices. They may be alienated by family and friends and may have to undergo a financial change due to a divorce and settlements involving it. It is important that each victim realizes that no matter how guilty they feel, they are not responsible for the affair. Even cheaters should value themselves as worthy of a relationship that does not downsize them to the level of creeping, stealing, or victimizing innocent individuals.
