A possible solution to attack the Ebola virus is ozone therapy. This was emphasized by Dr. Adriana Schwartz, president of IMEOF (International Medical Ozone Federation, president of AEPROMO (Spanish Association of Medical Professionals in Ozone Therapy) and secretary of ISCO3 (International Scientific Committee on Ozone Therapy). The world is shocked by the news from Africa in relation to the Ebola virus. WHO (World Health Organization) informed that at end of September the number of patients was above 6 500 and the death toll was higher than 3 000 in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea being the most affected countries.

Ozone therapy, which is an absolutely safe treatment and stimulates the immune system, could be readily available in large quantities and at low cost, even in the poorest areas of the world, points out Dr. Adriana Schwartz. The antiviral and antibacterial properties of ozone gas are widely recognized. The Ebola virus has little chance to survive to a direct exposure of the gas. After several cycles of treatment, the immune system is able to turn the balance and control the infection, with no side effects for the patient.

The ozone therapy treatment could be administered to infected persons with Ebola virus by rectal insufflation, thus minimizing the risks of infection to healthcare workers. Large amounts of treatments may be available in the field, just where it is needed, at a very low cost.

Ebola is heavily featured in the news these days, bringing lots of fear and concerns. Can anything be done to successfully treat or prevent this horrific and highly lethal disease?

Dr. Robert Rowen who is a leading expert on oxidative therapy, offers an intriguing answer in this interview. By invitation of the President of Sierra Leone, he’s going there to teach health care workers how to treat Ebola using ozone.

“I do ozone, ultraviolet blood irradiation therapy, and high-dose vitamin C,” he explains. “All of these collectively belong to a family of therapies called oxidative therapies.

In my opinion – and I’ve been doing them longer than any other living person in North America; since 1986 – especially ozone and ultraviolet [therapies] are among the most powerful therapies for healing across the board of anything I’ve ever seen in my career… It does so by stimulating your own body to heal.” …

Ozone is a naturally occurring chemical that consists of three oxygen atoms. Ozone is a powerful oxidizing agent. High concentrations of ozone can be toxic to living organisms and are considered a major source of pollution. However, small ozone doses are thought to increase some naturally occurring antioxidants in the body. Antioxidants help to fight off cancer and benefit the body in other ways as well.
