You visit Knowledge Weighs Nothing and follow the Facebook page because you want access to free, preparedness, survival and homesteading information, reviews and tutorials etc. Well today you have hit pay-dirt, as if it’s free information you are after, I have an awesome resource to share!
The great guys over at ‘Armageddon Online’ have spent a huge amount of time compiling a list of around 3000 free preparedness/survival books, manuals, guides and more in one place. Most of the guides are available in PDF, which means they are easily downloadable and printable.
A few weeks ago I wrote about how useful it would be to store thousands of books on an e-reader device, such as a Kindle. Surely, this isn’t the first time the idea has been proposed for the prepper community, but it deserves to be mentioned again.
Planning to live without civilization means there will be times when we won’t have access to the skills we need. Society provides an immensely beneficial service to us, in the form of people who are specialized in certain tasks, such as doctors, mechanics, and electricians, etc. But despite spending their whole lives practicing these sophisticated skills, even they need to reference a book or a website from time to time.

Anyone can suddenly be thrust into an emergency situation or have a disaster land squarely upon them quite unexpectedly. How well one survives or IF one survives may be a matter of luck. Far better to invest some time and effort in survival preparedness. Think ahead to anticipate what sort of situation might arise and what survival skills, gear, and supplies would be useful to successfully see you through to the end of it.
