Most of our farmers rely so much on the production of animals in their farms, they grow them naturally and hopefully they could sell them or butcher them for a decent income. The production of animals is very important in our country, people from part of this world knows that, American people is consuming tons of meat every day. This would show how important it is to get our farms filled with cattle and all sorts of animals that we used for food. Now imagine if suddenly the number of cows or all sorts of cattle will start to drop, until we find ourselves in scarcity for meat food.
A recent study shows that the reproductive system of some animals that are associated with roundups have significantly change. There seem to be an abnormal formation of the sperm, thou the sperm counts are normal this does not guarantee a normal outcome. This particular research should not be taken lightly. If this is not address by the authorities or the concerned government agencies we will be facing a great danger in food security, we are talking about thousands of cattle that could possibly be wiped out if this is not prevented.

The study found no difference in sperm concentration, viability and mobility, but there was an increase in abnormal sperm formation measured 2, 3, and 4 months after this short exposure.
The study, published in the journal Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, is the first to measure the delayed effects of exposure to Roundup on sperm in mammals from a short exposure. It was conducted by a team including Prof Gilles-Eric Séralini at the University of Caen, France.
Roundup was found to change gene expression in sperm cells, which could alter the balance of the sex hormones androgen and estrogen. A negative impact on sperm quality was confirmed, raising questions about impaired sperm efficiency. The authors suggested that repeated exposures to Roundup at doses lower than those used in agriculture could damage mammalian reproduction over the long term.

This could be a threat to our food security, Roundups could potentially affect the number of mammal animals both in quality and quantity. People should not remain silent about what is happening in our environment, especially the fields and farms that we so valued for our security.
